The Wanderlust is a 5+1-piece travel rod utilizing a proprietary formulation of combining different Toray carbon cloth laid in a multi axis configuration for the best strength and sensitivity ratio. This 6’5″ rod is suitable for different terrains, be it land based casting or fishing from a boat. Paired with quality components (SiC guides) from Fuji Japan, the Jabbers Wanderlust is robust enough to handle a traveller’s fishing needs. The Jabbers Wanderlust casting is built to handle a wide range of lures of different weights (as light as ¼ oz) and every joint of this travel stick is individually tested and fitted to provide the feel of a single piece rod. This unique 5-piece rod closes down to just 46 cm and will fit in any small luggage that can be hand carried onto the aircraft. To facilitate the use of vertical and slow jigs, a special extended Jiggerlust butt has been designed for this rod. This extra piece is made available with a butt protector for ease of storage as the rod is expected to serve for a long period of time. Comfort and reliability are the key factors when deciding the grips for the rod, hence only high-density EVA and superior quality cork handles were chosen. PROTECTION The high-density neoprene rod bag that is provided will adequately shield your rod from scratches and harmful UV rays. Always keep your rod in the neoprene bag until you need it.
